Insurance
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?

We are in the credentialling process with several others. So, if you do not see your carrier listed, please contact us (ext. 2) for more information or for us to arrange a preauthorized single case agreement before your appointment, so that you can have your choice of therapy provider.
Insurance Notice
While insurance may make therapy more accessible there is a word of caution you should know. In general, insurance companies will require that we give a diagnosis (label our clients with a "disorder," i.e. a mental health condition/illness that indicates "medical necessity" for therapeutic treatment). They will likely limit the number of sessions you may have to address your concerns. Finally, your diagnosis becomes a permanent part of your medical record (usually this is not a concern, but in certain circumstances the label may create an imposition, such as certain career choices, obtaining certain credentials, identifying as a high risk if later you seek to self insure, etc). This is not to deter anyone from utilizing coverage; only be aware of the implications to better understand the risks and benefits of using insurance.
Payment
Cash, check, and all major credit cards accepted for payment. Payments are due when services are rendered.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a $25 service fee for holding the appointment.
