Christopher Moore, MS, LPC-Associate, NCC recorded over 900 clinical hours including a high school counseling internship before graduating with honors from Tarleton State University with a MS degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. After successfully completing over 23 years teaching Advanced Placement United States history and remaining an active AP College Board table reader for the APUSH national exam, the opportunity and future now is to serve the adolescents and adults of Texas.
Rather than continuing his career focusing on teaching academics, Christopher decided to go back to graduate school to pursue and obtain both the state and national level licensure and certification requirements necessary to share with the citizens of Texas the resources, skills and techniques which can be utilized to help establish and maintain solid individual mental health.
The counseling field is constantly changing, and therefore Christopher Moore makes it a priority to constantly adapt and stay on top of the latest research, techniques, and new developments in the field of mental health counseling. Christopher is constantly involved in seeking new certifications and regularly attending professional conferences and workshops throughout the country to keep up with the latest counseling research. Because Christopher believes in an eclectic approach to counseling, the training and information he receives are then adapted and presented in a professional manner to help everyone involved in the therapeutic relationship overcome the presenting issue(s) which are all unique and different to each client assisted at New Leaf Services, LLC.
