Joanie Dollar, M.Ed., LPC
Counselor
Joanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. She has experience working with adolescents/teenagers, and adults affected by depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and chronic medical conditions, among other challenges. She is a client-centered therapist, and integrates various counseling approaches to help each client realize their strengths and potential in order to achieve their personal goals.
Prior to earning her Master’s Degree in counseling
from Tarleton State University she received her
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Texas
Wesleyan University. She has many years of experience
in the education system, also earning certification as a
school counselor, and has worked as a therapist in various
clinical settings.
Understanding that life brings many unexpected challenges,
she strives to provide a safe and supportive environment
that encourages clients to explore ways to improve life, and
have hope for the future.
