Laura works with those experiencing anxiety, depression, negative habits, or a general sense of being stuck.Fear can keep us from moving forward with goals and plans. Often a sudden change such as a separation, an illness, or a death may catch us unprepared to handle our lives moving forward.She can help you resolve your daily suffering, the pain of change, and see choices in life moving forward with treatment collaboratively designed with you to meet your specific needs.


Laura received her bachelor's in human services from Gonzaga University, Spokane Washington. After completion, she achieved certification in chemical dependency services where she has worked for many years on substance abuse issues for those in recovery and their families, and recognized she wanted to work with people on a much deeper level. Laura earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology with coursework in marriage and family therapy, play therapy, and co-occurring disorders at Tarleton State University. With many years of experience, Laura brings a great deal of life experience to this work enabling her to connect with her clients on a variety of levels and in both an empathetic and meaningful way. Laura offers therapy for veterans and their families, abuse survivors, children and families of inmates, grief counseling,depression and anxiety, stress management, career counseling, anger management and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).Laura counsels couples who find themselves in trouble in their relationship and want help getting back on course.She understands the importance connection plays in the healing process, and strives to provide a safe place where you can explore your deepest concerns, work through your challenges, and come out on the other side feeling empowered, and on a positive path toward growth and well-being in a manner that works best for you.Laura can help you move through your specific issues.

Qualifications:

  • Masters of Science degree in Counseling and Psychology from Tarleton

State University in 2013.

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (CI 76422 ) registered with the Texas State Board of Examiners, 8407 Wall St, Austin, TX 78754 (512) 834-6658,which has approved supervision as she works toward licensure in the State of Texas.
