Dana has a heart for families and young people. As a young adult she began working in church ministry across the country. Prior to obtaining her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at Tarleton State University, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Biblical studies. She has continued working with families in churches, schools, non-profit organizations, groups and in the private practice setting.
Her own life experience has led her to take a special interest in family systems. Families today come in all shapes and sizes. Her goal is to help families that are struggling, this includes those affected by divorce, addiction, abuse, grief, incarceration, separation, and illness. In the midst of struggle, she strives to help each individual gain confidence in their own unique strengths as they continue their journey toward joy.
